Italian Pietra Dura Mosaic Table Top

This amazing table was made in Italy ....The flowers and creatures that fill the black granite were created with bits of sem-precious, stones...lapis lazuli, jade, opal, red coral.  Magnificent  A dear friend found this 'gem' of a table in San Francisco and it now graces her lovely home.   Lots to llook at in the table...almost psychedelic.
