Hellebore

Another lovely day with our grandson. The day started off with horrible wet weather and traffic gridlock (oil spill and road works apparently in the city centre). But it got a lot better.

Our son headed back home and we went round to help and cuddle. The heath visitor came (delayed from her morning visit by the traffic jam) and I took the dogs on a good walk. This took me past the Priory which is part of the historic building work beside the castle. (Our plan to visit the castle late morning had to be postponed).

While I am now used to the swathes of daffodils in parkland this clump of hellebore stood out.

Back home there had been a spell of “tummy time” with Cameron lying on his front looking around. He is trying to hold his head up already and is now over 9lbs. Two weeks old tomorrow.

An evening back at the flat catching up on Derry Girls - a programme we missed first time round. Great craic!
