Mothers Day
Awake at 7:33 with the shout for Grandad. How very sweet. Hmmm. As it was, the SK bounded out the sack for the first shift. And after a decent interval I joined them. First there was a Mother’s Day card to make. Then a trip around the garden making a posy. And to finish off, fun on the beach! Cigs was there with Loki his very wonderful retrieving spaniel and we had such entertainment learning how to throw a ball. Again… and … again.
I must have done something after she was returned to her mum with her little gifts. Maybe I read the paper? Yes, I would have done that. Well, the papers are still here and they definitely look kinda read.
Addendum: Two films not included: Three Minutes and An Irish Goodbye. The former didn't really manage what it set out to do - was it a history, was it meditation on the fleetingness of the moving image? It sort of fell down between the two. The latter was amusing enough though I feared Father Ted from the off.
