Glory of the Snow

Today's the day ..................... to get it right

I blipped these lovely little blue flowers that have just opened in the garden, this time last year, almost to the day.

I didn't really know what they were because they were in the garden when we came.  That's the good thing about blipfoto though - there's usually someone who does know and they're often quite an expert on the subject.  And sure enough, it wasn't long before the Grumpy Old Man (he's not by the way!) came to the rescue and identified them for me.

So - here they are - Chionodoxa luciliae - to be absolutely correct ................!
