Compost Day

The much awaited compost day was not like last year.  Last year was sunny, this year it was raining.  Last year there were about 8 of us there (so we went twice), this time there were so many cars that the carpark was full and cars were parked all over the verge on both sides of the road and partly blocking the road. It was also very difficult to actually get to the rapidly diminishing heap, but with some help we got just over half a bulk bag's worth.  My share is now sheltering under the wheelbarrow. I will probably be buying some more of the bags that are in the foreground here now.
Hoping the council find a safer location and maybe 2 or 3 lorryloads next year. :-)
