Ready for the cardboard

This may not look very interesting, but the potato patch is now levelled with many barrows of unwanted old woodchip from a friend's plot.  I had a helper again for the session that helped to get it done. Next step is two layers of cardboard and a layer of manure and compost and we will be ready for planting Nicola (currently still chitting at home).

We also planted some spring garlic (Flavor) in the space between the autumn planted Elephant and normal garlic and harvested another pot of potatoes (Charlotte again).

We are all tooled up for the free compost day tomorrow with bulk bags and spades/shovels. Hoping it is as good as last year's.
