Sloe and Blackthorn

A remnant from last year’s sloes with this year’s new flowers.

The Skoda went in for brake fluid change and aircon service this morning, the last elements of s service plan, so they had already been paid for.

They were short jobs so instead of taking two cars and coming home we planned a walk from the garage, through the East Malling Research Centre to the village of that name and back again.

We’ve not walked the area before and it proved to very very interesting and on good footpaths, some of which were surfaced. And we stumbled upon a cafe in the Research Centre which provided coffee. We then found another in East Malling village.

Pottered about this afternoon, cooked tea then went to the Doddington Ukes, forgetting to take the iPad!
