FRIDAY

The consultant did his ward round at 06:50 this morning and I was deemed OK and  ready to go home.

But a final check of my [low] blood pressure two hours later meant it was touch and go as to whether I could be discharged.

After, breakfast, a few laps of the ICU and more measurements and a phone call to the consultant I was allowed home before lunch time.

Now home and taking it easy.
