Down Memory Lane

It's Friday! We all started by working at our desks. Well, not G - she went to school but was home by 11. She had a 4get-me-not lunch, so Danny and I dropped her off and headed to Deira City Centre - an old haunt for him.

I wanted to get the batteries changed for four watches, so it was a multi-purpose trip. City Centre opened in 1996 and was Dubai's fourth mall. It housed the IKEA that we visited a hundred times when we furnished our flat that year.

Between picking G up and eating out at a local Chinese restaurant, I did several more hours at my desk! I got paid today. Amazing!
