Sunshine and Rainfall

Typical spring weather with sunshine and rain all in the same day! 

Here is my latest crochet project, using my large collection of stash yarn! It's a lacy shawl in variegated yarn ( prettier than in a plain colour for this type of project. )

It has been called the 'Virus Shawl' because once you start, you want to do more and more.  I prefer to call it 'Lacy' as the word virus is a reminder of what the world went through not so long ago!

I've enclosed two photos of the start of the shawl on March 22nd, what it looked like yesterday and a few more rows added to it this morning, in the main photo.  The pattern is fairly complex with four different rows making up the design, but as time goes on, it becomes more automatic. Lots of counting stitches though!

Some cheerful tulips bought yesterday to bring some colour into my weekend.
