Rise of the fern creatures

We had heavy rain for hours and hours this morning. The earth was thoroughly saturated with water, causing The Great Fern Creature that lives under the house to extend its spindly green tentacle onto the porch step in a desperate attempt to come up for air.

Now, here it lies, exhausted, and completely spent from its efforts to save itself.

Give this wet and bedraggled thing some mouth to mouth resuscitation.
