Does Grandad have the Aubergines?

Tony and I have been competing in the British Orienteering Championships at Cold Ash today and both found our courses tough and, at times, frustrating.  I seemed to spend my time clambering over forest rubbish and finished well down the field.  Tony made a significant error which cost him a number of placings.

We stayed so that I could take a couple of thousand photos of competitors, but I won't be processing all of those tonight.  It grew very cold with a brisk wind towards the end of the day so we packed up and drove back to Oxford.  The family returned a short while later having attempted to visit Wisley, but Euan was still a bit under the weather and not up to walking around the garden.  He had a good night's sleep last night but continues to have a slight temperature and isn't lasting as long as he normally does.

It was time to relax before dinner so we all were involved in playing Euan's new shopping game where you have to fill your trolley from your shopping list by turning over foods and remembering where they were.  I took time out for a welcome shower and Daddy took over from Mummy so that she could look through her new cookbooks.

Tomorrow it's Relay Day.  I'm not a fan of relay racing so I will be taking lots of phots whilst Tony runs his leg.
