Whatshisname

Do you know when you go away and, as the car is leaving, you have this feeling you have forgotten something or haven't done something?  I had that feeling yesterday and last night I realised what I had forgotten.  

Tomorrow we are going to take part in the British Champs.  As usual I will have a very early start so that afterwards I can take several hundred photos.  Tony is also on the jury in case there are any course disputes so it will be a long day and those several hundred photos may turn in to 1000+  so having the ability to transfer them to my laptop would be very useful, if I hadn't left my gizmo at home!

So, after leaving Euan safely at Nursery we accompanied Becky down to Oxford to enjoy coffee and pastries at the yummy bakery before she went to work, then I trawled the city trying to find a replacement gizmo.  Apparently, John Lewis held them and when I turned the corner towards the store I was met by these two balloon pooches by the artist Whatshisname.  The red one is Stretching Balloon Dog and the yellow Downward Balloon Dog.  You can buy small ones in the Fine Art shop to the left of the red one for £170 if that is the way your credit card takes you. 

John Lewis didn't have a gizmo and neither did Ryman's but a little gadget shop on my way back to the house did so that is me sorted for tomorrow.
