Daffodils looking good

There are so many daffodils out at the moment but many have been battered by the wind and the rain. Including those in my garden, the tete a tetes are nearly over but hopefully the tulips will be flowering soon.
These are still looking good as they are in a more sheltered position.

We had the family over for a meal after they had been to an Easter egg hunt. Everyone was interested in the boat race including the five year olds. My daughter did row for her college for a couple of years at Cambridge and enjoyed that and the annual ‘bumps’ event on Cambridge, but was never going to get any further with her rowing! So good that Cambridge did so well today.

I have started my latest piecing patchwork…slow progress as it’s quite complicated!
