Arrival to Tivoli

We left my brother’s house in Jersey about 1 pm on Sunday…and, after many hours of travel by car, plane and train, we arrived to our first destination, Tivoli, Italy at 3 pm today, Monday. After collapsing in bed for a much needed nap, we took a walk to explore the neighborhood and forage for dinner. It was sunset, just after a brief thunderstorm, and the sky was amazing — pink and puffy. The extra photo is the neighborhood fortress - built in the 15th c for defense, then served as a prison, now is a museum.
