Reflecting on a Little Egret

The weather this morning was dreadful but at least I managed to get out in the afternoon. I suppose with March winds in full sway and April showers imminent if not in fact early, spring is being very springlike...

I love this shot of the Little Egret carefully tip-toeing across the flooded fields, its reflection keeping pace. It's a crop of course, but not a big one.

In other news having withdrawn the funding for local buses, the regional authority has just emailed me to tell me about a new £2M fund for local travel initiatives. Do I want to buy a bus?
