The Tree

Another lovely day with Karen and Deb. First thing we took Asha to the ferry for her week trip to Valencia. All the kids were full of nervous energy! So so lovely to see them all together. After waving her off we headed for breakfast with Debs and Karen, we actually saw Asha's ferry go from where we were sat! 
We bumped into more homeless friends! Everyone is especially loving meeting Danny's mom!
We picked Nate up from school and took our lunch to The Tree...a brilliant hour. Then home to make a version of Tarta de Santiago for Rich's birthday. He and James are here for 2 weeks sorting problems in their property. I channeled my inner Bulliblips and grilled the cake (accidentally!!). Utterly hilarious! The top half was delicious, the bottom half was less so. Highly entertaining though, thankfully this group of friends are a group to have no shame in front of, safe friends. So a ridiculous cake was only funny. 
A brilliant Caña Club with everyone. I love those friends. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Karen and Debs being here. 
2) Asha getting off safely and us receiving messages from the teacher with pics and updates. She's also feeling better today -  cold, but not so unwell with it. 
3) Safe friends you can make a fool of yourself in front of!
