Burton Bradstock

The other end of those lovely cliffs you more frequently see from West Bay. It It wasn't a good day for walking as the wind was blowing a gale and the rain had been varying between drizzling and bucketing all the way from Lyndhurst. It's about halfway to home so we stopped for a nice seafood treat at the The Hive Beach cafe.

With the blustery wind it was a bit like being on a sailing boat being battered by storms as the beach cafe has tent style walls. We've been there a couple of times before but they've been in more summery months when the sides have been open. The food was great though and soon we were on our way again with a deadline for picking Cato up from his holiday home. The rain was bucketing down by now and he didn't know whether he wanted to be in or our so he went in and out a lot. Of course he needed to be dried off each time before he went out again!
