Big birds!

A busy day today.
I drove to Inverurie, about a 45 minute journey, to meet a friend I have known for about 25 years and we had morning snacks before a look around the Garioch Heritage centre where he couldn’t resist adding the bit in the extra.
I then saw my first butterfly of the year just outside the building, a peacock you can see in the other extra. It was a pretty warm day so I guess it had just come out of hibernation.
In the afternoon, I visited another friend I have known for 50 years and had a fine chat.
On the way home, I saw these two cranes about 5 minutes from our house. It’s great to see them back.
