Evening light

I think this crane is looking pretty splendid in the early evening sunshine.
I guess they will be laying their eggs pretty soon so I won’t see them until their young are up and about.
A busy morning. I spent two hours washing and drying dishes at a coffee morning at the allotments.
In the afternoon, I gave our grass its first cut of the year. So much moss!!
