Lazy day

Actually, the only lazy thing of late has been me. Finally got some work in yesterday after almost six months of idleness. Unfortunately, it is the $40 variety, which won't even cover the interest on the Visa bill but which is a start. Then, of course, as this is how it always happens, five minutes later, in comes a phone call offering me a full-time job in Global Affairs (our version of the Diplomacy Factory). Five years ago, I'd probably have jumped at it, but now all I can see is stress and working weekends and late nights amending speeches... it's given me food for thought, though.

Thank God for cats.
