Is That Blue Up There?

I really wanted to post something today. Something positive...I want to get back into blipping every day, but lately it has been bit of a challenge to do so...The best I could do today was this last-minute photo, taken from my patio door just before heading off to bed....yes, to bed..at sunset! Believe it or not, I was so totally wiped that bedtime, even before the sun went down, looked pretty inviting..and there before my eyes at last, was something positive!..a blue sky..after all those endless gray ones! Done!  Yay! A blip for the day.

It wasn't an easy day to find something uplifting or worthy of photographing or writing about. It was one of those days when everything seems to go wrong...The garbage man arrived earlier than scheduled this morning and sped on by just as I was walking out the front door with my recycle bins...drat! The cat brought up a hairball on the upholstery of the not-yet-in-summer-slipcover mode living room chair...so that began my first stain-removal task of the day - there were others..but they were not all cat-induced..Then I was beset by an old eye issue that luckily resolved itself...whew...please not another visit to the doctor! 

And then of course, the big excitement of the day was the long-awaited  announcement of the indictment of Trump..which unfortunately was followed on TV by the endless opining by pundits and by politicians who couldn't seem to wait to see just what Trump was being charged with before ranting and raving about the injustice of it all! 

By that time, my patience was already wearing thin from the challenges of the day and when one finds oneself swearing at pontificating fools on a TV screen one knows it is time to retire for the day...even if the sun has not yet set!
