Not in my garden. 
I did find a native plant nursery that says it will sell a whole host of plants I haven't been able to first find in person, and have instead bought online, and second gotten to grow from the roots or corns I received. If I can buy plants maybe they'll do better. Fingers crossed.

Today is International Transgender Day of Visibility. I have quite a few friends with trans children. In my country, a set of politicians has been attacking trans children for years now. The quintessential bully picks on those he knows are most vulnerable. The evil required to promote child suicide is incredible. 

The United States is going to get hit by a storm so bad apparently the entire country will be blown into the oceans. Tornadoes have already begun. Tomorrow, when I was scheduled to visit the cherry blossoms in DC again, we may have storms. In the afternoon I was going to see a baseball game, not because I like baseball, but because we have colleagues from Pretoria in town. We could have gusts of 65 mph.

Ukraine has received 18 Leopard 2 tanks pledged by Germany. They also have received 40 infantry fighting vehicles and 2 armored recovery vehicles. Ukrainian tank crews have already been trained. 

Kazakhstan will start requiring exporters to file additional documents when sending goods to Russia. This is because Russian companies have been using Kazakhstan to avoid sanctions. These rules are to reduce that. 

Russia's economy is bad and the Wagner group is suffering enormously. Putin has ordered another draft, which is bad news, but may also hasten his downfall. The ICC arrest warrant seems to have caught Russian leadership by surprise. Other Russian lawmakers are scared they will be charged too, weakening their support for Putin.
