Spoonbill
Another day another spoonbill. I notice this one has an egret in the background trying to get in on the act. That will need to go!
First Extra is a 'nearly one', totally unplanned. I was taking some shots of boats at sunrise when this pelican suddenly appeared. If only I had been expecting him.
And for those fed up with birds, the second extra is the fabulous Magnolia Avenue in St Augustine. It is covered by an arch formed from 100 year old Oak Trees covered in Spanish Moss. Often thought to be one of the most beautiful streets in USA.
But highlight today was meeting up with my old friend Steve, former wildlife photographer and blipper (EzHighway) who will be remembered by some of the blippers who have been around for a very long time. His images always graced the spotlight pages.
