Error of judgement

My brother and his wife have arrived, ready for the funeral tomorrow.
We went over to my Nana's house this evening, to see family.
I then suggested we went for a walk in the beach.
Misjudged.
High tide, blowing a gale, couldn't open the car doors.
Got out of the car, took 6 photos then retreated having decided I am stupid.
Chris, however, always willing to perform like a trained monkey, got on the sea front exercise machines and provided me with my blip.
