Orange Ladybirds
….again!
I was so excited this morning when I “spotted” them. I’d been looking in the trees where they were nesting last year and the year before, but they were about 50 yards away. I counted 47 on one tree.
They are so tiny most people don’t even notice them.
A dull damp morning has given way to a sunny bright afternoon. I’m sitting here bathed in warm sunshine, and Geordie has even moved across the room to soak up some warmth.
Extra: seeing the orange ladybirds beside the more common red one gives an idea how small they are.
