a rare moment of calm....

it's been a chaotic day! My brother and his family have visited and it was puppy dog Baileys' first visit to our house! WE did the best we could this morning to puppy proof everywhere and it seemed to work out ok, although shoe insoles were a temptation too far for him to ignore!

But he didn't stop from the moment he was here until he left! New things to sniff, more people to play with , a garden to explore and even a walk round the block didn't slow him down!  But it seems it did wear him out enough for the journey home to Surrey, as they sent me a pic not long after they left of him fast asleep!!

Gorgeous day of weather today too with lots of sun and I got to see 3 butterflies in the garden - brimstone, small white and comma! unfortunately none were willing to pose today!
