Sowing flower seeds

I've tried growing this gorgeous cut flower mix twice before, and failed miserably with direct sowings.

This year, I'm not taking any chances - sowing seeds in a planter in the greenhouse and growing the seedlings on until they're large enough to plant out in their final location.

That way there's hopefully less risk of them getting decimated by slugs. If this fails, I'll have to admit defeat.
