Met up with past guest and Blipper LizMBPics who's up in the Lakes for a few days. We took a stroll over High Rigg, a little fell just North East of Thirlmere. Sunny and mild, but with a keen wind at times, layers were on and off frequently.

It added yet another Fell to my "challenge" - taking me up to 8 Fells in only 4 days (and my intention is one every two days for the next 14 months).

The USAF even treated us to a few "fly-pasts" (extra), though the little ruined building on the return along St John's in the Vale was rather lovely in the Spring Sunshine.
