The Mansion, Cirencester
Today the girls and I went on a guided tour to The Mansion in Cirencester. Home of Lord and Lady Bathurst, it was a very interesting tour with lots of focus on the Duke of Wellington (who was good friends of the Lord B at the time of the Napoleonic Wars). There are still spaces on this year's tours if any local blippers fancy it, it's not been open to the public till now.
We then walked to the Horse Head sculpture (Still Water by Nic Fiddian-Green) within Cirencester Park and had to photograph the rare Gloucester cattle with horns and white tails. If you've had double Gloucester cheese it is made from their milk.
