Camellia

I spotted a flash of red at the back of the camellia bush and when I investigated more closely I found several wide open blooms tucked into the shelter provided by the wall of the house. The buds on the exposed (but also sunny) side of the bush are quite a long way off opening.
A busy day preparing for a meeting tomorrow and helping N get his wood turned pieces ready to go to the gallery at Calgary.
