Dahlia surprise

When I watered the beds in my greenhouse, I came across random green leaves. Dug them up thinking they might be a weed and it turned out all my dahlia tubers hadn't died in the frosts!

Obviously I have no idea what variety this little soldier is but I've now potted it up and will soon find out. 

Goes to show there are always surprises round the corner on the plot...
