Flamingos at the coast

The last morning of how are short break was spent at the coast. There were plenty of flamingos and redshanks. After coffee in Periac, I drove onto Le Freanqui and climbed up onto the cliffs for a walk. I ate my sandwiches looking out over the wide expanse of sand where this weekend they will hold the world kite surfing championships. There were lots of preparations going on. It is normally very windy at this spot but they will have to hope there is a little more wind at the weekend as today was unusually calm.
