Inspired by a slow moving train.

I met friends at Arnside today. It’s a former fishing port 22 miles south of Kendal, where the river Kent, which flows through Kendal, meets the sea. The estuary vid spanned by a viaduct 552 yards long. It was built in 1857 and re- built in 1915.
Plans to build a footpath and cycle trail on the viaduct are still being considered.
I found it interesting but a rather static addition to the scene - and then, obligingly, a train travelled sedately along the viaduct, allowing me time to locate my phone and take a photo.
