Dragon eggs

This is not the best photo as it's through a very dirty display case at the entry way of school. Dirty because hundreds of little grimy hands touch it looking at the 3-D printed dragons every day. This is this weeks obsession.
The idea is for our IT dept. to hide 2 of the eggs a day somewhere in the hallways. If a student finds one they turn it in and get the dragon. This is a cool idea in theory. However, 2 eggs a day for approx. 800 kids can lead to some obsessing and some very upset kids. Not to mention the kids that I work with who already have a hard time with disappointment.
I am really looking forward to the week ending and the eggs going away! I don't think I'm the only one who feels like this.
