Once upon a time...

Once upon a time this was a flourishing gorse bush which produced the most beautiful flowers just about now. Later the small birds seemed to be very attracted to the bark of the bush at the end of the summer.

Sadly two attacks dealt the bush deadly blows. Firstly a heavy snow fall, virtually the only one that year, split the bush in two because of the excess weight. Secondly the bush suffered permanent damage when scaffolding had to be erected when the house was re-rough cast.

But I am pleased to see that someone is making use of it as a stopping place for his mobile home.
