Hippity-Hoppity

Lots of spring displays at our favorite Gardening Store to explore. Who can resist bunnies and tulips and chicks and daffodils? • I’m pleased to say none of them came home with us! • We picked up a few fruits and veggies at the grocery store, plus some Portuguese bread, thanks to Memories4Me’s blip this morning. It’s a bread we discovered years ago at a bakery in Portsmouth, NH, and have never found another equal to it. Oh, we’ve tried many, and like this one purchased today, it will fall short of the sweet moist chewy perfection we remember, but still a treat • How about a few rabbit puns to brighten your Friday?

What do you get if you cross a frog with a rabbit?
- a bunny ribbit :)

Why couldn’t the rabbit fly home for the holiday?
- he didn’t have the hare fare :)

Why don’t rabbits get hot in the summer?
- they have hare conditioning :)

What do you call a line of rabbits jumping backwards?
- a receding hare-line :)
