Swans

Swans have been around for some time, but quite a surprise that I got quite near them on a walk in the afternoon. I have never before been so close to them on land for more than a short moment, but this time they tolerated me within 40 metres and even closer for ten minutes before I left. +10°C at highest like yesterday, but with bright sunshine, so the snow is finally thawing quickly. Hauled some bales to a stable nearby and brought some home. Last chance to do that before the roads turn soft.
