On the Falkland Estate
Today had been set aside for an Easter trip to Falkland, its a place we know well and are very fond of.
There were no disappointments with great weather, good organic food at Pillars of Hercules Farm/cafe, and beautiful walk across the estate. The land is now under community ownership, but in the 19th century it was a designed landscape with grottos, waterfalls, tunnels, temples etc. Previous to this it was a Royal Hunting Ground used from Falkland Palace.
The extra shows the tumble down Temple of Decisions, and some of the Angels that decorate the front of Falkland Palace.
