Bus Pass Walk and Sir Tom

3 bus pass Walkers caught the K4 "bread van" along to the Marquis of Granby and had a walk along the canal.  A beautiful spring day and very warm too.  As we passed above the cemetery I mentioned that I wondered where the monument was to Sir Tom Moore. We found a way down from the towpath and found the memorial. Quite a few of his family buried there too.  There is also an impressive remembrance memorial (extras).  Refreshments at Five Rise Cafe then a short wait for a bus home.  A good outing.
