The photographer

An exceptional but very long day , and hardly a minute to catch breath. Loved every minute of it well, an exception would be the 5am start!!  Four speakers this morning , each one superb in their own field. This two opening speakers ( a couple) were people/documentary photographers and what amazing and gobsmacking photography and stories were told. There was so much to take on board I’d love to do a rerun of their presentation. The next was a landscape come “out there” creative  photographer. The final speaker was a portrait photographer , not the usual stuff though. Apart from an exceptional photographer she is a hairdresser and makeup artist. Lordy, the things she came up with were way left field. So enjoyable , she is doing another presentation tomorrow on nude photography.
This afternoon we went on a birding field trip lead by Steve Attwood who is one of our speakers tomorrow. . Not one photo of a bird was taken. They just weren’t there. But really it didn’t matter an once. There is always something to photograph right, dead right. And we had a great time.
My blip is my friend and blipper twigs from Nelson. So good to catch up with her again. A phone photo, I’ll load the camera ones when home.
We’ve had a very pleasant dinner and evening with a jolly group of photographers.
Bed beckons,  I’ve been up for 18 hours!!
