Lovely day exploring the beaches of Morar.

We set out this morning to reach small beach on other side of river opposite hotel but ended up walking to Camusdarach (as recommended by Tweedy) and were glad we did. It truly is a stunning beach with wonderful views across to Eigg, Rum and Sound of Sleat.

The walk back took my step count for the week thus far to over 132,000 - I was pleased that today’s walk was possible after all my skipping, hopping and stepping earlier in the week.

This afternoon we walked on local beach - the tide was completely out which meant we could walk to one of the islands we were looking at earlier. It is fascinating looking out and seeing how the view from our hotel changes with the tide.

We also saw a steam train which going through the station as we headed out for afternoon walk.
