Friend for Coda??

We think Coda needs a friend, and hubby has wanted a smaller dog,and we were told by a friend that there were a couple of smaller dogs at the Jeffreys Bay Animal Welfare, about 100kms from PE. So hubby and I went there today, and after much difficulty found the place!
The dogs were really lovely, but we loved this one.
Question is....will Coda relate to this male about 2 year old dog, will he settle in here, etc etc etc. Lots to think about!!!
He really is cute...oh dear.
