Another wool shot

Early start as M&A had to be in Perth by 9am for their cockapoo Henry’s grooming appointment. They took both dogs round the stream which gave he time to empty the dishwasher and refill it with the last of the dishes.

Miss PHL decided last night to stay over instead of going back to her flat and took Phin to sleep in her room. Unfortunately he didn’t really settle as he knew Henry was in the house so she didn’t get the best sleep.!

The three of us enjoyed a nice breakfast before Mr PHL took Miss PHL back to her flat. He took the opportunity to visit his barbers for a pre holiday haircut.

Phin and I returned to Newbattle Abbey where he had fun swimming across the river to join in with 2 other Labradors who were playing in the shallows. He swam back but refused to come up the bank and headed back over to the other side again. He eventually came back for a biscuit!

Another glorious day so 3 loads of washing on the line and a lazy afternoon spent doing not very much. I’m up to date on my blanket again and even managed to see in more of the ends.

Chippie tea and a hot bath have helped with my tiredness today as will the early night I’m about to head upstairs for.
