Another Roundabout

My favourite photo from a fun day out at Millets Farm Centre to celebrate Rory's 8th birthday.

Whenever the boys go on a carousel they hardly ever look at us, spending most of the time looking inwards or upwards, anywhere really except at us. At least the horses are looking at the camera, as is the scary lady on the right.

Probably the highlight of the day was the 18 hole farmyard golf, though I have no idea who won. Joe had a unique putting style, though he didn't really grasp the idea that the person with the least, rather than most, strokes was the winner. At the final hole the balls disappeared into a box, and Joe was determined to find out where they went, finally locating a manhole cover which he lifted to reveal the stash of balls.

Back at home we watched the last episode of Beyond Paradise, then had cake and a Skype with daughter#2, and of course we all sang Happy Birthday.
