Pigeon Flyover
Today the sun and blue skies returned again. It was a lovely day so of course we had to take a stride back to our local, The Chequers, for some riverside thirst quenchment.
Today's images were both taken on our stroll back home at the flyover (or elevated section of motorway to give it the correct terminology) of the M20 which crosses over one of our nearby main roads.
My main image shows the wooden cladding that has been attached to the outside of the flyover (yet another exciting subject for a blip folks!) - I'm not sure that this is for structural or aesthetic purposes but it has proved to be a perfect spot for the local pigeons to roost and, if they feel so disposed, to leave a reminder of their presence on any unsuspecting pedestrians passing beneath their lofty perch!
The extra is a view from underneath the flyover showing a pop of today's blue sky and that nature is still determined to cling on where it can.
