Commemoration…

…of the Easter Rebellion, 1916.

Every year at Easter Dublin holds a commemoration of the uprising of Easter Sunday 1916 when a group rose up to protest British rule in Ireland, The day is marked by military parades and marches.

We were not aware of this until late this morning when we went out of our hotel and found the street closed and got to see one of the last groups parading.
