Friends Reunited

This morning I brought my Mother back to our house for  lunch, and  to be reunited with her old tortoise, who has come to live with me. They  hadn't seen eachother since last autumn when he went into hibernation. She  was pleased to see him in his new home; meanwhile he was keeping his thoughts to himself, but hungrily munching the dandelion leaves she offered him.
In the  afternoon we went up to the village green where there were Easter egg trails in progress. Last year my Mum, her sister and I did the  3 km trail together  but we decided to give it a miss this year!
