Spring Bulbs

A pleasant spring day. This afternoon there was an event run by the local sustainability  group on reducing our carbon footprint when travelling about. Taking the bus or train is better than going by car. Cycling is better still for short trips.  The local cycle shop brought along a few electric bikes for people to try and we took our e-bikes which our friends rode around the  supermarket car park! I think we may have some  converts to e-bikes. There were also a  couple of women from Breeze in attendance. Breeze is an organisation which arranges women-only bike rides, to encourage more women to cycle and to give them more confidence to do so.   
I forgot to take any photos at the event so my blip is of some pots of spring bulbs in my garden. The narcissus Bridal Crown has a wonderful scent.
