Leaf Me Alone

On our return from busy days at the Offices, instead of nap almost immediately on the sofa (which was my initial preference I have to admit) we took to the garden to give it a quick bit of tlc.

We took on some of the big weeds, gave the flower bed a little turn over & 'dealt with' a few rogue snails that were caught mooching about. This creature had a nice shell & was casting a lovely shadow in the setting sun. He was rather attached to his leaf too, so we decided to relocate him, his home & his extension elsewhere.

Shame how weariness sets in almost immediately you walk through the door after a day at work. We chilled this eve, I rustled up salmon & asparagus risotto, & we relaxed in front of the box watching Benny & Joon, a very sweet & funny film.
